THE NEW SAT - CHANGES YOU NEED TO KNOW

4/3/2016

The SAT exam will look slightly different from March 2016 and will impact all students enrolling in college from 2017 onwards. Thanks to our crack team here at USA Scholarships, we have done the research, so you don’t have to.

The redesigned SAT has been made to look and feel very similar to the American College Test or ACT. The new test has been reduced from 3 section to 2, as the essay is now optional. The big changes occur in how students are asked questions and the steps required to reach the desired answers. Students will have to use a lot more cognitive reasoning skills and need to complete a set of sequential steps to reach the right answer. These changes are all designed to test the students time management ability.

We here at USA Scholarships always recommend the SAT exam to our students, as it is the most widely used standardized test in the world. However; if you are not satisfied with your SAT results you might want to take the ACT. The ACT is growing in popularity and is widely used in the American College System.

I am going to appear in the next year’s SAT exam but I am actually worried about the newly changes that are introduced in it. Your guideline has removed most of my problems related to it for which I am thankful.
